Most of our artists are local or regional. But because of the popularity of the show, we are attracting more nationally recognized acts. For many of these artists, Song of the Mountains is an opportunity to be famous for a night and - because of the national exposure - find a much larger audience for their music. And none of our artists have to pay anything for this national television exposure!

When we first started our show five years ago, we leased the video and sound equipment and utilized freelance engineers and technicians to produce our TV show. Then, three years ago, we obtained financing to purchase our own production equipment. Since, then we have been able to provide a quality televised musical experience at a venue unlike any other in the country using our own production equipment.

Although we produce a nationally syndicated television program, we are a non-profit organization. Except for our director and host, we have no salaried employees. We operate entirely through volunteers, local government support, underwriting sponsorships, merchandise sales and – most importantly – fans and viewers like you.
