About Next Best Thing
Sally and Tensel, Rhonda’s daughters did not grow up playing instruments or singing everyday. Although they traveled thousands of miles and listened to more bluegrass than most people hear in a lifetime --- even BEFORE they were born. When they reached school age, their father became "Mr. Mom"; a display of his devotion to his marriage and children; and strong support of his wife's talents, as she embarked upon a solo music career. Though they might have sang an occasional song with their mother; playing an instrument or performing was still far from their mind. They now have their own group known as “Next Best Thing”.
